Promoting Global Trade: The Role of ECAs

Former IFC CEO Lars H. Thunell gave the keynote address "Importance of Global Trade" at the LSE public lecture "Promoting Global Trade: The Role of ECAs".

The event was recorded on May 29, 2012 in Sheikh Zayed Theatre of the New Academic Building. Other speakers included Pedro Carriço, Jon Coleman, Dr Hans-Joachim Henckel, Peter Luketa, Geetha Muralidhar, and Professor Danny Quah, and the event was chaired by Andreas Klasen. The speakers examined the role of export credit agencies and financial institutions in promoting global trade and the challenges they face during Europe's sovereign debt crisis.
