Vietnam Secured Transactions Workshop

Date and venue: 17 Sept. 2012 in Ho Chi Minh City; and 20 Sept. 2012 in Hanoi

IFC and the National Registration Agency for Secured Transactions under Vietnam’s Ministry of Justice will co-host two workshops on the online registration system for secured transactions in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, respectively. The workshops will discuss the system’s first six months of operations and its benefits as well as potential ways to enhance the system to better serve end-users. About 200 representatives from the related ministries, the court system, the notary system, the State Judgment Enforcement Department, commercial banks and other financial institutions will attend the events. The participants will also join a discussion on trouble-shooting and exchange their experience in using the system.
