IFC is a leader in pioneering transactions in the global transportation sector. We work with global players to ramp up investments in the sector by collaborating within the World Bank Group and with other international financial institutions.

 

We had $3.6 billion in cumulative commitments in 43 countries and regions from fiscal years 2000 to 2010, and mobilized $30.2 billion. As of June 2010, IFC held a committed portfolio of $1.7 billion in projects in diverse sectors and regions.
