IFC and the Ethiopia Commodity Exchange (ECX) hosted the inaugural symposium on Warehouse Receipt Systems for Inclusive Agricultural Finance in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on June 4-5, 2012. 

Over 270 participants took this unique opportunity to foster new partnerships, exchange ideas, identify best practices, and formulate a framework for warehouse receipt financing. Representatives from the financial sector, trading companies, regulatory agencies, and development banks in more than 20 countries joined the event.

Thanks to all of the presenters and attendees who made the seminar a success.
