This video showcases the support provided by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to develop the banking sector in the Caribbean. In the video, interviewers share their lessons learned and recommendations from the Republic II Project implemented in Trinidad and Tobago. The project helped Republic Bank to finance the privatization of Barbados National Bank (BNB). The Republic II Project is a winner of the Independent Evaluation Group's 2009 XPSR Award.
