IFC’s B Loan portfolio is managed through the Syndicated Loan Management group ("CSLLM"). This group provides consistent service to B Loan participants, and ensures that IFC's contractual obligations under the Loan Agreement and Participation Agreement are fulfilled. In addition, CSLLM keeps participants abreast of important project developments and takes into account their views in on-going loan management.

The Syndicated Loan Management group collaboratively works with IFC's syndication, investment, legal and financial operations departments as well as industry, environmental, social, and insurance specialists to ensure that Participants are kept well informed about each B Loan transaction's performance.
Syndicated Loan Management Portfolio - As of June 30, 2011, the CSLLM portfolio consisted of 165 projects totaling US$12.3 billion committed and US$8.6 billion outstanding. The total number of participations as of June 20, 2011 was about 750. In the last five years, CSLLM has been involved in 50 closed restructurings totaling US$1.8 billion in B loans and involving 259 participations.
As of the same period, Latin America accounted for 31.8 percent of the total committed portfolio (disbursed and undisbursed) followed by Europe and Asia with 19.3 percent and 13.1 percent, respectively. From a sector perspective, Infrastructure had the largest share with 59.4 percent, followed by Global Financial Markets and General Manufacturing with 21.4 percent and 19.2 percent, respectively.
