What we do
IFC's Farmer and SME Training teams work with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and farmers to enhance their productivity by strengthening local capacity-building skills.
How we do it
IFC works with SMEs to strengthen their management capacity by:
-
Offering Business Edge, a well-established training platform, which supports local companies in training SMEs in management and financial skills.
-
Offering the SME Toolkit, an online resource on management training for SMEs.
IFC works with farmers to build skills that would improve productivity by:
-
Partnering with large firms and financial institutions to build technical skills that would increase agricultural productivity.
-
Demonstrating best practices in teaching as well as in the effective use of information and communication technologies.
