IFC is partnering with donors to respond to global challenges. IFC's 50 years of experience in private sector development in emerging markets gives the Corporation a global reach and local expertise. This allows donors to achieve the local impact they seek as well as contribute to developing innovative business models for sustainable and inclusive markets that can be replicated elsewhere. Donors who have become partners recognize the benefits of tapping IFC's extensive knowledge and resources. Today, donors are able to work with IFC through its Sustainable Business Advisory Services on three focus areas that draw on IFC's corporate priorities and thus allow for alignment with IFC's investment services: 1) Address climate change mitigation and resilience; 2) Create access for local producers to investors, markets and global supply chains, and; 3) Introduce market-based solutions to increase access to sustainable-infrastructure services.
