Africa Leasing Facility

The IFC Africa Leasing Facility is a five-year, multi-country advisory services program aimed at introducing leasing as an innovative financial instrument across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Conflict Affected States in Africa

IFC’s Conflict Affected States in Africa (CASA) Initiative, launched in 2008, is helping design and implement integrated strategies targeted to support economic recovery and growth in seven sub Saharan African countries: Burundi, Central African Republic, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and South Sudan.


Efficient Securities Markets Institutional Development (ESMID)

ESMID is a joint IFC and World Bank program funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) to develop well functioning securities markets to finance priority sectors such as infrastructure, housing and microfinance.


Health in Africa

The mission of the IFC-World Bank Health in Africa Initiative is to encourage governments to engage the private sector in contributing to sustained improvements in access to quality health-related goods and services in Africa and to promote financial protection against the impoverishing effects of illness.
